Shopping

Shopping, one of girls most favorable past time. Why? because we get to burn fats while we shop XD

Well, as you know, no one likes to go through the hard work of exercise just to lose the few extra pounds. Sometimes people might even have exercised for weeks and yet they still could not shed any weight. So, girls opt to shop as they can have fun while having their daily exercise ^^

Hahahaha, okay, don't think I'm going mad just yet, Nana and I were joking all the way about walking and shedding the calories while we shop, just to give ourselves a little extra amusement. XD

I went with her to Times Square, and we shopped for 5 hours!!! O.o I had no idea we shopped for that long...... We just walked in to every shop that we found interesting, and by that I mean more than half the shops there, heheh..... Somehow, our shopping tend to run a little slow, I even remember times where we just walked through the whole mall without buying a single item, though we're dying to spend the money (we saved for months before we went out ok). This time, though we did spend, but it took us half a day before laying our hands on our first item, we even thought that we were going to go home empty handed, again..... haha XD

Nana got her dress first, but it's a little too short for a dress though, according to her, so it became more of a top. For me, my first item was a belt, my long awaited belt~~~ (I searched high and low for it, and I've finally found one I like!!!) from then on, there goes our shopping spree!!!! We each bought 2 tops and a belt (I psyched her into buying a belt, cause I kept pulling her to every belt shop to find mine XD) and I have no idea what has gotten into me, I bought a knitted wear!!! (it looked so good on the mannequin T.T I really love it though, but it's a little hot to be worn outdoors, heh... well, it's not thick, so it's bearable) Another piece is a black dress, but like Nana's, it's too short to be a dress, sobs..... guess I'll have to find some shorts to wear inside.

Shop shop shop, burned off some calories, and we went to eat pretzels!!! (calories gained back T.T)

Haha, awesome day out!!! Nana~~~ I'll be seeing you again soon!! ^^

Flash Mob

KBU college's first ever Flash Mob!!! Total Fun!!! At the same time, total fiasco....... but who cares, we had fun!!!!

You could say that we 'syok sendiri' over there, we were all cheering ourselves, the spectators just stood by and, well, spectate....... We only had around 4 rehearsals, whereby only 2 of them were somewhat productive, as most of the members turned up. So, I would say that we did a pretty good job, though there are a few mishaps...... But flash mobs are all about having fun!!! Who cares if you didn't get the steps right, pfffffffffft~~

Total Awesomeness!!!! I wanna do it again!!!! =D

90210 vs Glee

Ever since the holidays started, i have nothing else to do but sit home and rot so i ended up watching the tv series 90210. I have to say, when i started to watch it it was pretty good, had quite a good laugh with it, thanks to Kim Mei (in a good way ^^) who brought her com to college and we had nothing to do, so we ended up watching the first 2 episodes together, and we laughed like a couple of bimbos over there, hahahaha XD

90210, as most of you would have known, is about a bunch of rich high school kids, how they go through their life, their ups and downs, friendship, love, family, etc.

Well, as I was saying, the series started off pretty good, but when it got to the middle, it kind of lost it's touch...... Maybe just for me, cause I found the storyline a little complicated, they change boyfriends and girlfriends as if they're changing clothes, even if they're in a relationship they can go round finding other guys/girls, one minute they're bffs, next they're arch enemies, then they're bffs again @~@ spare my poor mind.......

Hahaha, well, I guess what else would you expect to get from Beverly Hills?? All the rich and famous lives there, it's quite predictable what you'll be getting out of this series, but I guess I'm just the old fashioned one, living in the past, can't imagine myself living in their shoes..... But maybe if I was brought up there, who knows....

However, I have to say that this series has a whole bunch of good looking guys and girls, even the father/principle is hot!! I mean, how many fathers in real life can manage to maintain such good body??? And even the grandmother is not so bad after all (makes me wonder what if my grandma was like that XD) So, if you're looking forward to seeing some hot actor/actresses, this is definitely the series for you.

Another series that I have been watching is Glee. This one, also bout high school life, but with a touch of musical in it, where characters sing what they want to say. Don't get me wrong, it's not for the entire series, but spreaded out.

For this series, I'll have to say it's good, great if you are looking for a good laugh ^^ Though in a way, there's also all the relationship complications and all, but the way they do it is in a more subtle manner, where it is more for comedy purposes, though it's still serious once in awhile, but you don't feel heavy when you watch the series (if you get what I mean, I don't really know how to put it in words)

Hmmmm, but though it's a good series, I just don't get the hype over it. Some people go crazy over it, everything is about Glee~~ (that is why I watched the series though XD). I still remember when it just came out, everywhere I go is Glee O.o!! even my cousin's are talking bout it (what on earth....), and after watching it, I'll have to say it is really awesome, but if it wasn't being hyped all over, it will just be another series...... I don't know, personal taste I guess.

Glee reminds me of High School Musical as well, where you get all the singing and dancing as you watch (something like bollywood movies XD) They have songs for everything, even songs for losing your virginity!!! O.O I was laughing like mad when I heard it, haha. Sometimes it just makes me wonder, how did they know that all this songs exist? Where the lyrics telly perfectly with what the characters wants to say, then I realise that they're in the entertainment industry, they know every single song in the book. =P

Nonetheless, both series are still a good watch, I personally prefer Glee, but I don't have the latest episodes T.T (Kaartig~~ =D)

English Essays and Scientific Reports

Noticing the difference between writing a scientific report and an english essay....... thank god i'm not taking science.

It's already bad enough that my english is turning rusty due to being unused for a certain duration that has resulted it to rust and mould. And now, while typing this post, my very own dear is asking me to amend his sentences for his engineering report...... dear, you sooooooo owe me...... I want more ice-cream!!! =D

But, I'm pretty glad that I could still structure sentences properly ^^ I mean, english is my only good language, my bm is.... please, don't talk about it.... and my chinese, well, it was never good to begin with. So, I'm left with my good old english..... It had better not rust completely, haha.

I better start brushing up on my reading, my books are sitting on my shelf for months and I have not touched them, looking at the amount of them i keep buying and not reading, i have about...... 20 books that have not been read? or maybe even more.......

Coming back to the relationship between science and english.... I never liked writing scientific reports, all the terms used are.... well... scientific!!! I prefer writing essays where I can fully explore the english language and come up with bombastic and flowery terms ^^

Know what, I'm talking like some bookworm here...... gosh, I think I'm too free now that it's getting to my head as well. First, I'm stressed out over work that I talk crazy stuff. Now, I'm too free that I'm losing my mind..... aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! I'm stopping now, bye bye.
