All The X's

I've been cutting out X's all day long at class, and I'll be developing X-phobia soon, haha

It's all part of the second stage for our third project. We did the wire sculpture first and now we'll have to construct the same animal using alphabets instead O.o

On Monday, when the lecturer entered our class, the first thing he asked was 'did you all have a good rest during the weekends?' and the whole class went 'crap, i don't like the sound of this..... it does not sound good.....' haha, and true enough, it wasn't. He told us that we were going to have a 'busy yet exciting' time for the next few week. Then, he broke the news to us that we had to do this modular project, and an orientation project on the following week(which is not going to be easy). Aikz, and to think that we could have a break after stressing out last week for all the datelines....

My group had to design our flying fox out of X's, and you do not want to know how many X we'll have to be making, it's going to give you a nightmare..... hahaha. Our alphabet could not be too huge as our fox isn't very big, so we had to do small X's (not exactly very, but quite small, haha) to construct our modular. So, for almost the whole day, I've been sitting in class cutting all the X's out, but I did went out and ponteng abit XD (everyone did the same, so don't blame me, ahahahaha)

Well, but there is one good new that I've been long awaiting for, and it is none other than my sem break!!!!!!!! The lecturer told us that we'll be getting a one month break, provided nothing goes wrong with all the projects and assignments. So, I'll keep my fingers crossed, I really need that break, cannot tahan.....

Submission Dateline

Finally!!!!!!!!! We've completed our wire sculpture and submitted it in. I felt so relived!!!! But only for awhile though, because I have to hand in my english assignment the next day, dang!!!!

On Monday, the whole class just realised that the dateline was in the afternoon on that exact day!!! What on earth...... Because for both of our previous projects, we were given two weeks for completion, so basically, the whole class just took it for granted and thought that it was going to be next week, as the week after next, we we're going to get juniors and start on our orientation project, so, it's just ngam ngam two weeks(so it's natural for us to expect it to be two weeks okay...)

So, when the lecturers told us, we were like 'WHAT!!!!!', and as the whole class didn't know about it, the lecturers decided to extend it until Wednesday(thankfully), so we had to rush our project in 3 days time.

There's 5 people in my group, Chia Chiet(group leader), Jing Yin, Vicky, Sylvia and me!!! We were required to do a flying fox, it's a kind of bat, though it's called fox(don't know why), and it actually turned out nicer than I've expected, at first i was like 'I want the dragon!!!!', but after that, when the shape of the bat started to form, i actually liked it, ahahaha(fickle minded me...)

The arms was kind of a trial piece, so in the end we decided to use another method, as for the ears, all thanks to Vicky, who asked me to just do without giving me the measurements, so in the end it turned out too big, aikz..... All my sweat and blood...... DOWN THE DRAIN!!!!!

Okay, I am totally, utterly blank of what to do right now, though I do have many assignments piling up waiting for me, but whatever, just don't have the mood to do, haha.

College life is a real hectic, when I first started it, I kept wondering, where on earth is all the so-called stress?? Everything seemed pretty smooth flowing for me, classes were carefree, we could run in and out as we liked, as long as the lecturer isn't talking, haha. But when our projects started...... Life has never been the same anymore, haha, maybe I'm kind of over exaggerating, but, well, you get the idea =P

Our project comes one after another, it's like a chain-reaction. It starts, ends, and starts again, and each round we'll just be repeating the whole cycle again, get the task, crack our heads, complain all the way, slowly carry out the work, and finally, rush the rest of the work in a night!!!

That's pretty much how I work, I know that it's a really bad habit, people always say never wait till the last minute, but for some reason, which I myself have no idea why, I can never finish my work early. Well, not always, but most of the time. For some reason I'll never have even the tiniest clue of how to do my work at the beginning, but when time is running out, all the ideas will just start flooding to me, haha, maybe it's because I don't have a choice but to come up with something. I guess I'm the type that has to work under pressure, I dunno, but I'm trying my best to complete my work a.s.a.p. if i could. =)

Project 2

Day 1

When one door closes, another one opens.........

This is the exact thing that is happening in my project class, as soon as one project finishes, another one starts, stress...... Our second project is doing impressionist paintings, we're supposed to duplicate the paintings of some famous painters, and the guy I got was Paul Cezanne (god knows who that is....) when I really wanted Vincent Van Goh. Not only did i not know who my painter was, i also had no idea how to paint his art work, there were like, a thousand and one tones in his painting!!!!!!!!!

But what is there to do, haha, like it or not, I'll still have to paint it. We were given the easel to do our paintings on the first day, to let us have the feel of being a real painter. It was fun at first, when we were still pretty enthusiastic about it, but after a few hours of standing, heheh, you'll be dreading to stand up once you sit down, hahaha. Moreover I wasn't feeling well on that day, me and Steph were half fainting by the end of the day, but we still managed to survive!!!!!!

Day 2

Time to get back to work after resting for a night, but we didn't get the easel today, we did on tables, which was harder to paint, cause the angle you're looking from is pretty hard for you to see where you're painting, haha. Well, at least the room is more cooling, we were almost going to get a heat stroke just by staying in the drawing studio X)

Miscommunication

Some birthday celebration...... Kok Shien Kok Shien, giving out wrong information......

Apparently, the way he made it sound was like we were going to celebrate Fook Hoy and Mei Ling's birthday last Sunday, even Kai Ru got the same idea. But when I got there, the only people i saw were Siew Mee and Kok Shien, so i asked them where were the others, and it was then that i found out that we're not celebrating on that day, we're just out to 'plan' their birthday, hahahaha, I was like, 'WHAT ON EARTH!!!!!'. But, since I was there already, might as well enjoy myself, haha

So, we went to watch Terminator Salvation, nice movie, but didn't quite understand, hahaha, sad.....

As we were waiting for Huichuin and Seng Keat to get their popcorn, we had nothing better to do so we started to snap pictures out of boring-ness

After the movie ended, we went to play pool, but because of my freaking college assignments, I had no choice but to leave early, aikz..... and now they're telling me that they're gonna celebrate the birthday next Friday!!!!! Which so happens is also my installation day, noooooooooo, just hope that they have to postpone it again, ahahahaha XD

Cravings.....

It all started when Steph and Julius entered the class in the morning, holding two nice cups of steaming hot startbucks coffee, and an egg muffin in the other hand. A sip of coffee and a bite of muffin and we were craving for more. The temptation was too much to resist that we had to get ourselves a cup, our very own cup. So, as we were halfway through our assignment, Zaa and Evelynn went out to starbucks to get the coffee.

Coffeeholics

I ordered the caramel latte, and it tasted soooooo nice, quite filling as well, I took half the day just to finish it XD

Oh well, anyways, during lunch, we didn't have anything to do as we were too stuffed from our coffee to eat, so, we just sat at the cafeteria and spammed. But Julius felt bored and really wanted to go to 1U. I was pretty reluctant though, but in the end he managed to get Jian Lin to go and I didn't want to be left alone at the cafeteria so I went along as well (we went all the way there just to get capsicums for our life-drawing..... centrepoint is just next door!!!!)

But, besides getting capsicums, Julius just can't resist his temptation for okonomiyaki (hope I got the name right), and he got me into eating it also (although I'm full...... I'm seriously going to get fat......)

Randomness

All of us had this sudden cravings to go for mamak all of a sudden , if I'm not mistaken we we're suppose to head to mcd (I wanted my spicy chicken mcdeluxe!!!) and we were already half way there when we decided to head to makbul's instead (introduced by steph). So, we took Julius and Zaa's car and drove all the way to taman tun.

Apparently, the chicken kurma there was good, but I ended up taking only the kuah and banjir-ing my whole rice, haha, cause I saw something else instead........ PERUT KAMBING!!!! Well, I'm pretty much a fan of it that's why XD

It was a pretty big plate of rice and it only cost me RM5+!!! Too bad i did not snap a picture of it, sad..... Julius and Zaa had the most expensive plate among us, theirs came up to RM10+, but they took a lot though, haha, Zaa couldn't even finish hers.

But, even with our stuffed stomach, Julius had to satisfy his cravings for ais kacang and ordered the ais kacang agar-agar. It was huge.....

It was so tempting that none of us could resist. No matter how full we were, that's not going to matter right now, dig in!!!!!
