Remembering the times during school days, where everything was a lot less stressful, teachers were around to assist us in everything we do. We never have to even think twice of what to wear, everyday it’s the same two piece uniform. Classes ended during the afternoon, and we’re off to do whatever we want.
The part I love most about high school is having a really great bunch of friends, though we weren’t close during the first couple of years, we started to bond during form 3 and when form 4 starts, that’s when the real fun begins. We did all sorts of co-curricular activities together, planned birthday parties for one another, and in the course of a year, we’ll roughly have a total of 10 birthday celebrations, celebrating almost every alternate month.
One of the most memorable moments during form 4 was when we participated in the Young Enterprise Program, introduced by AMCHAM Malaysia. It’s a program whereby students were taught about the fundamentals of business, how it works, how to manage your company, etc. We were the first batch in our school to take on this program, and sadly to say we were also the last, as certain problem aroused in the following year and resulted in the program being cancelled for our school. Though I have to say the program was a little stressful and time consuming, as form 4 was not an easy year to cope with, but we had a really fun time participating.

Went to AMCHAM for an interview
Stock Challenge!!! (love it so much)

Us and our awards (we didn't want to get off the stage)
In form 5, we participated in the Hospitality Race organized by KDU. It was something like Amazing Race where we had to run round the college to find items and perform tasks. There’s a point which we had to run up about 6-8 flight of stairs!!! (can’t remember the exact amount) A total of 9 of us went, 3 per group, and my group got 7th place!!! Too bad there isn’t any prize for coming in 7th….. But we had a really enjoyable time there, the whole day was fast paced and packed with a whole lot of fun.
We also went for CLIOD (College Life In One Day) which was organized by Taylor’s College. We were given different choices of courses where we were able to go there and experience what is it like to be a college student for the day. All of us did not go together as we had different choices. In the end, Kai Ru and I went for the Architecture course while the others went for mass communication. Though it was only the two of us, but we still had lots of fun meeting people and working with them.
(too bad ours failed *sobs*)
Another memorable moment was during ‘Lost In Bermuda’. It’s a haunted maze which we did for our school’s carnival, where we became the ghost ourselves. And the best part is, we made a profit of RM600++ in just 4 hours!!! We started working from 8am till 12pm, and we manage to snag that amount, which gives us an average of roughly RM 150 an hour, not bad….. But we had to split the cost among 10 people, so we only got around RM60/person, still not a bad amount though.
At the end of form 5, during Christmas, we organized an overnight trip to Genting. We rented a room at Genting View Resort (never will I be Going there again) and we brought our own food up to cook as we were sure that the food at Genting is going to cost a bomb, especially during Christmas Eve. The apartment that we’ve rented was only a two room apartment, where there were only 4 beds, so we ended up taking turns to sleep, and I did not manage to sleep at all…..

Some random shots........
