Ready To Fly

Another lost post.......

Kai Ru was chosen to be a contestant for the 3rd season of the Ready To Fly programme on astro WLT, it should be aired sometime next year, remember to tune in to you TV =D

Timeline (not 100% accurate):
7.30 am
Woke up

8.20 am
Fetch Karina

8.40 am
Sat bus to Puchong IOI

9.00 am
Reach Puchong

9.20 am
Kai Ru's dad came to fetch us for breakfast

I ate pork mee, same as nana, Kai Ru ate fish head meehoon ^^

10.00 am
Finished breakfast, head to astro station

We had to go a really big round just to get to the station, apparently there's a north and sounth entrance, and we were suppose to go to the south entrance, which was all the way inside technology park...... how on earth are we suppose to know that???

10.45 am
Reached astro station, Kai Ru went for make up, me and Karina waited at the lobby

11.30 am
Went to the cafeteria, Kai Ru joined us shortly after that

The cafeteria was really nice, how i wish my college was like that too.... haha (i didn't snap the food section though, too lazy to walk, and a bit weird, run there just to snap pic =P) Kai Ru was with make up when she came to join us, she looks sooo hot!!!

Went back to the lobby, Kai Ru went for briefing already, left me and nana, waited some more.....

2.15 pm
Brought into the studio, contestants getting ready for filming

Sadly, we weren't allowed to snap any pictures in the studio. Nana and I were awed by the ceiling, full of lights and devices, no idea what are they used for, but it was really cool, haha.

2.30 pm
Filming started

Just to film a 1 hour show (counting in the commercials) it was really long....... at times, a single scene had to be taken a few times just to achieve a desired effect, and sometimes technical difficulties arised and thus, had to film several times....

5.00 pm
Filming ended, contestants had to stay back for an interview session, the rest of the family and friends went back to the lobby to wait

I have no idea how many times and how long nana and I have been waiting throughout the whole day.

5.20 pm
Kai Ru came out, called for her dad, wasn't free, so called for cab

The cab operator was freaking annoying, nana was telling her to send a cab to astro station inside technology park and she was like 'oh my god, i tak faham apa u cakap la' (oh my god??? O.o Is that how an operator should be talking??)

5.35 pm
Cab reached

5.55 pm
Reached Kai Ru's house

6.10 pm
Walked over to IOI mall

IOI mall had a new phase, nana and I wanted to take a look ^^

6.20 pm
Reached IOI mall

Padini had sales over there, everything was round 50%, 70% off, too bad i was running out of time and I was kind of on a budget T.T

Went out to wait for bus

Public transportation can really kill..... we waited until 7.00pm and still our bus did not come. In the end Kai Ru just called her dad and since he was free, he fetched us instead, TQ uncle!!!! =D

Reached KJ station, mom came to fetch

Home, rushed to prepare to go out for dinner.

Went out for dinner

Went to El Cerdo for dinner, some German restaurant, near Jalan Alor. The restaurant had really nice food, pricey though, and everything was pork, hahaha. Well, what do you expect from German cuisine?? But it was enjoyable, it's what you call 'fine dining' ^^

I think it's asparagus soup, can't remember, but it tasted good

A German tradition, you have to chop the suckling pig with a plate, make a wish, and then throw the plate into a bucket to break it

It was a really long day, out the whole time, didn't have time to stay home and rest. Enjoyable though, it was an experience being able to watch how they film a game show. Now, whenever i watch one, I'll know what's going on behind camera, hehehe~~~
