Birthday Present

Happy happy happy~~~~ don't know what to say........ HAPPY!!!!!!

Went to Mid-valley today, my bro wanted to go for the education fair there, planning to take his masters, trying to look for universities, so I just went with him, see who would get more brochures, haha, but we didn't really count in the end......

*If you're wondering why we are competing, let me feed you on a little history of our past ^^. Years before, when I was still in form 1, and my brother was about to start college, we went for the education fair at that time as well, and for some reason, the people there kept feeding me on all the brochures instead of him!!! (do I look that old T.T) And just so you know, whenever we go on tour for holidays, those people in our group would think I'm the elder sister!!! Sad......... I'm just tall okay, thus, making me look mature, I'm not that old, mind you people......

Back to the story, so, went for edu fair, walked about, gathered some info (I went collecting design brochures and looking at the student's portfolio, akakaka, steal ideas ^^) and off to art friends after that. On the way, we passed by a boutique, and saw this dress draped beautifully over a mannequin, and then, that was the moment *angels singing* *world moving backwards* *light shinning down from heaven* (hahahaha, fine fine, I'm pretty much over exaggerating, just to add drama into my story XD)

Anyhow, we passed by the boutique, and saw this dress at the front window, and I loved it when I saw it. My brother thought that it looked good as well (can't remember who was the first one to acknowledged the dress) and it was pretty unique, so, out of curiosity, we went in to check out the price.

Went in the shop, search search search, and there it is!!!! But when I picked it up from the shelf, it looked ridiculous, like some pyjamas, but it looked awesome on the mannequin (well, I'm sure many of you have experience this before, picking up something hideous from the racks, but looks great when you put it on, yea, this dress is that sort of clothing). Then picked up the price tag......... OMG!!!!! %@#&$%#@!#% what on earth...... but kinda expected it already, from this kind of boutique, it's pretty much predictable, haha. Then the shop lady was like, you can try if you want, and my brother was 'go la, try la, try only marr, it looks good', so, okay, since you say so. So, went to try, and AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Love it so much!!!!! Showed my brother and he was like 'looks good on you, doesn't make you look fat' O.o ^$%@&#%#!% (call me fat pulak) So, I stare stare stare (kinda reluctant to take it off), and then , my bro said the magic words 'If you want I buy for you la, as your birthday pressie, it's a really nice dress' O.O!!!!! But I was still reluctant, so expensive!!! So I told him I'llsee first, think about it, and finally took the dress off and went over to art friends.

We took awhile there, couldn't make up my mind on what materials to get, and when we're finally done, we went back to Mid-valley. And my brother asked again 'so do you want the dress, I'll buy for you, it's really nice, and it's unique.' (he's paying for it and he's asking me to buy, prompting me to spend his money, even though I'm not paying also sakit hati leh....) Finally, after few more persuasions, I'm getting the dress!!!! (my mom made a lot of noise though, said it's not worth it, could get cheaper and nicer ones, but my bro asked me not to listen to her, her fashion sense not good, ahahahaha XD sorry mommy.....) So, yea, went back to the shop, and bought the dress.

Hehehehehehe~~~ so happy~~~~Thanks Big Bro!!!! Really love the dress, I'll get you something good for your birthday too kay!!! Thank You!!! Love you so much!!!! ^^

Caution: some of you might think the dress looks weird, I don't know, personal taste, but I love it, and I'm pretty much over-joyed, hehehe. =P

P.S. I know my blog post is kinda long winded, writing down every single detail, but I cut it short at the end already, if not I'll be telling you the whole story bout the time I was in art friends and how my mom objected us from buying, hahaha XD
